WRITING SOFTWARE TO THE PHONE (FLASHING)

This function enables you to update the phone software application version.

1 Select Tools/Write Software.

2 Click the Write button. After approximately 15-30 seconds, the progress bar should

begin to move toward 100%.

Never disconnect the

programming cable from the

phone during the programming

process or power off the PC

while the codeplug file is in

memory. This can cause call list

data to become corrupted.

Notes:

Set up the programming hardware as

described in “Section 2: Setting Up the

Hardware” section on page 11.

If the progress bar does not appear or an error

occurs, go through the checklist in the

“Unable to Write Software” topic in the on-

line help.
