CREATING A BACKUP CODEPLUG FILE

Tomakeabackupofthecodeplugfile:

1 Make the codeplug file active by clicking on its title bar.

2 Select File/Save As. In the File Save As dialogue box, navigate to the drive and

folder where you want to save the file.

3 Enter a new file name in the File name field and click OK to save the file.

Take a few moments now to review the CPS menus and the various features of the

codeplug window. These are described in the “Using the CPS” section beginning on

page 19. Then proceed to the next task.

To avoid loss of data, you

should make back up copies of

all codeplugs that you work on.

Backups can be extremely

useful in restoring codeplugs

that get corrupted or are

inadvertently erased.
